SI 2007/2079 inserted regulation 13A and came into force on 1 October 2007 by its own regulation 1(2) (\"These Regulations shall come into force on 1st October 2007\"), which is the date this record carries. The cap bit from that date even though regulation 13A(2) phased the additional leave in: 13A(2)(a) to (d) give the transitional fractions and (e) the settled 1.6 weeks for leave years beginning on or after 1 April 2009.",

"scope_note": "A CAP, not an entitlement: a worker who works six days a week accrues 5.6 weeks = 33.6 days under regulations 13 and 13A and receives 28. A worker on five days a week accrues 28 and is unaffected. This is the only statutory annual-leave figure stated in DAYS — the two pots themselves are stated in weeks (`employment.working_time.annual_leave_weeks` is the regulation 13 four) and the familiar 5.6 weeks is their sum, which is arithmetic and a separate record. From 1 January 2024 regulation 15B(4) puts a separate 28-day ceiling on an irregular-hours or part-year worker's accrual; that is a different provision for a different class of worker and is not this record.",
"notes": "An SI carry (ADR-0014): SI 2007/2079 reg 2(2) INSERTED regulation 13A whole, so there is no value-level substitution for NF-1 to re-derive and the inserted text carries no provision id of its own in the amender's as-made document. The evidence is the pair: the 1998 Regulations' current view, where the value is today, and SI 2007/2079 as made, the frozen witness that put it there. One value only: nothing preceded this cap, because nothing preceded regulation 13A.",
